Programme Office Manager / Consultant - Permanent - £32 - £75K (depending on experience)
Our Client is regarded as the Top IT Consultancy, worldwide, and needs more passionate Programme Management Office (PMO) Managers/Consultants. As part of their specialist group, you will be working on a variety of challenging programmes for their key clients across the UK and Europe.
Our client is looking for you if:
- You're experienced in core Programme/Project Management methodologies/courses such as PRINCE2, PMI, PPSO etc (Qualifications preferable);
- You are regarded as a bit of an expert in a Portfolio/Programme management tool such as MS Project, Mercury ITG, Niku Clarity, Microsoft EPM, Primavera, Planview etc;
- PMO excites you - from Risk to Earned Value, Planning to Quality, Procurement to Resource Management, Communications to Finance - and you want to be involved in the strategic side of programme management;
- You're excited about the possibility of travel around the UK (and possibly Europe) to work with many of the leading organisations in the world (mobility is a must have, naturally this is fully expensed);
- Even though you are already smart, you constantly crave more knowledge. For you, life is about learning something, and achieving something, every day;
- You will take on responsibility for: aiding the support, planning, and monitoring of major IS Programmes supporting the Programme Manager, managing multi £M budgets and leading a team of Programme Office staff. This will include monitoring milestones, Earned Value, reporting, communications, configuration, risk management, quality assurance etc;
- You are a PMO professional with strong demonstrable experience;
- You love working in dynamic teams or managing teams and are confident interacting with senior stakeholders; and
- You're driven and always keen to look at old problems in innovative ways but you also know when to use the tried and tested approach.
