Selection Criteria
The Decium 10 Core Competencies ® Framework is made up of over 60 competency elements.

This framework is the basis for the Decium Job Engine © which takes your personalised role requirements, as an input, and matches individual candidate experience and competency elements.

All competency elements are separated into behavioural and functional categories. It is important to note that just as the functional skills outlined in the Decium competency model overlap with behavioural skills, many of the behavioural skills defined in the model require a degree of functional competency. 

e.g To be an effective communicator the programme office lead must understand technical language, but must also have the business skills to translate such language to business strategies and objectives to non technical management. In the same way you could say that business and leadership skills are needed by project managers to link their projects to the relationships, resources and infrastructure of the organisation.
